About Your Bay Area Family and Newborn Photographer
Hi, I’m Megan — a Bay Area newborn photographer and family photographer based in beautiful Alameda, CA. My work is rooted in an understanding of family life — the energy, tenderness, and beautiful unpredictability of being together.
I create sessions that feel calm, easy, and natural — gently guiding while allowing children to be themselves, so your images feel relaxed, genuine, and truly reflective of your family.
From the tiny newborn days through the ever-changing seasons of family life, these moments pass quickly. As a mother myself, I know how fleeting they are. Photography allows us to preserve the closeness, the connection, and the everyday moments that shape your family’s story.
Specializing in printed fine art, I create timeless artwork designed to live in your home — bringing you back to these moments each time you walk by.
Serving families throughout Alameda and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Let’s Create beautiful artwork
Specializing in printed fine art, I focus on creating stunning pieces that grace your walls and bring you back to cherished moments each day. Whether you’re capturing the joy of a new baby or documenting your family’s current moment, I know how meaningful these photos are. My aim is to transform these special moments into timeless works of art that you’ll treasure forever.
Why Work With Me
Every part of the experience is thoughtfully designed to honor your family’s connection — preserving it in a meaningful way to be lived with and cherished for generations.

Thoughtfully designed artwork
Every image begins with real connection — the quiet closeness, the laughter, the way your family naturally moves together. Those moments are then transformed into artwork meant to be seen and lived with, not stored away. Your photographs become meaningful pieces in your home that grow with your family and bring you back to how this season of life truly felt.

A session designed around you
No two families are the same. I take time to understand what matters most to you so your session feels natural, comfortable, and truly reflective of your relationships. The goal isn’t just beautiful images — it’s preserving the genuine connection that makes your family yours.

Guidance from start to finish
From planning and styling to designing and delivering your finished artwork, I handle every step — so you can simply be present with the people you love and enjoy the experience and memories we create together.

Why I Became An Alameda Newborn & Family photographer
I grew up in the Bay Area, and after leaving briefly for college, I knew this was the place I wanted to come back to and raise my family. There’s something about the light here, the mix of nature and city, and the deep sense of community that has always felt like home to me. Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until I became a mother that it truly turned into my calling. Those early days with my own children opened my eyes to just how fleeting and meaningful this season is, and I found my passion in newborn and family photography.
Today, I work as a Bay Area newborn photographer serving families throughout the region, including newborn photography in San Francisco, Alameda and across the East Bay. I’m endlessly inspired by the beauty around us, from coastal beaches and open skies to tree-lined parks and classic neighborhood streets. Exploring favorite photography spots around the Bay Area allows me to create sessions that feel natural, relaxed, and deeply personal, whether we’re capturing newborn photos, baby photography, or meaningful family moments.
My approach to bay area newborn photography is centered on ease and connection. I know how overwhelming life can feel with a new baby or young children, so I take care of everything—from planning and styling guidance to creating a calm, unrushed environment—so you can simply show up and enjoy the experience. Sessions are designed to feel gentle and comfortable, allowing real emotion, quiet moments, and genuine connection to shine through.
As a mom and family photographer in the Bay Area, I understand how quickly these seasons pass. My goal is to create newborn photos and family portraits that feel timeless and honest, images that bring you right back to this chapter years from now. I’m honored to document your story through newborn photography in the Bay Area and beyond, and I would love to help you preserve these fleeting moments in the place we’re lucky to call home.
